The Captain Kandis Ruiz program assists with out-of-pocket expenses for alternative, integrative, naturopathic, or holistic cancer treatment of military service members, veterans, and their dependents. Once the out-of-pocket expenses have been determined and clarified with the billing department of the hospital or clinic, CKCRF will directly cover these expenses on behalf of the cancer patient.
